Nick Wreden
Nick Wreden is a branding expert with more than 20 years of branding and technology
experience with Fortune 500 and other top companies. He is the author of FusionBranding:
How To Forge Your Brand for the Future, which was voted a 'best business book'
in 2002. His next book on branding profitability, accountability and sustainability
will be published spring of 2005 by Kogan Page.
Nick has worked as a consultant with such companies as Oracle, IBM, Seagate,
Hitachi and many others. He co-founded one of the first technology marketing firms
in the U.S., which was later sold to Ketchum Communications.
Nick has successfully presented branding seminars in Kuala Lumpur and Kuching
as well as China, USA, Canada, Turkey and Norway. He was the keynote speaker at
the 15th International Corporate Brand Identity Conference in Vancouver in June
2003.
His articles on branding and business strategy have been published in Harvard
Business Press publications, InformationWeek, BrandNews, MarketingProfs, eWeek,
VARbusiness and numerous other publications.
He is a regular contributor to ADOI magazine and ComputerWorld Philippines. He
has been has been interviewed by Bloomberg News and quoted on branding in such
publications as USAToday, Christian Science Monitor, Atlanta Journal-Constitution,
New York Post, The Edge and other major publications.
Nick has a MS in technology management from Mercer University and a MA in journalism
from the University of Missouri.
Rafidah Adenan
Rafidah Dato Sri Adenan has vast experience in business development and branding,
especially in the insurance, property and tourism industries. She is skilled in
market analysis, customer relationship management, risk management and multiple
promotional activities.
Her accomplishments include overhauling and developing the marketing department
of one of the oldest insurance broking companies in Malaysia. The company has
since gone on to be a significant and respected player in the broking industry.
With her extensive local and international business relationships, she provides
valuable insights for qualitative research as well as brand and other audits.
Rafidah has a masters' degree in marketing from the University of Surrey in
the U.K.
Marcus Osborne
Marcus Osborne is an international marketing strategist who has been involved
in marketing in the media and financial services sectors for more than 20 years.
Working in the Middle East and South East Asia for the past 18 years, Marcus has
developed marketing strategies for organisations involved in event management,
financial services, tourism, fashion, agriculture, insurance, interior design
and health and recreation.
Marcus established one of the UK's largest offshore financial services companies
in Bahrain in 1989 that grew, within five years, to turnover more than US$20 million
per year in five offices across the Middle East. His accomplishments also include
successfully developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy for
the largest business-to-business exhibition ever held in the UK. Marcus developed
and implemented strategies for a leading financial services company in Malaysia,
achieving start-up marketing, financial and other goals four months ahead of schedule.
In 1995, he founded the dynamic marketing division of Tiger Publishing Sdn Bhd,
a contract publisher that evolved into TigerMedia Group Sdn Bhd.
